The event was held on 2nd May, 2014 at Canan Guest House Embu Town. Guests included Rt. Reverend Henry Kathii, Bishop ACK Embu Diocese; Ms. Ann Njue CEO WINAS SACCO Embu; Advocate, Ms. Wairimu Rugaita of Rugaita & Co. Advocates, among other distinguished guests. Donations were made throughout the event aided through MPESA and a live tweeting session via the Neema HEEP Social Media pages. Overall, it was a successful event with the beneficiaries being more than elated as well as the guests in participation.
